Bruce normally appears as a slightly built man with brown hair, glasses and not much else. To describe him as a weed would not do the man an injustice. Physically unimposing there is an intensity in his eyes that few can match and even less can withstand when that gaze falls upon you.
As the Hulk, Bruce appears as a 8ft, gray skinned giant with rippling muscles and rage in his eyes. His hair turns from brown to a deep gray almost black and his skin tone shifts to a rippling grey; his muscle mass increases dramatically and the only thing that resembles Bruce at all is the color of his eyes, they both share green eyes.
Personality:
Bruce at his core is a scientist, he wants to explore what is possible and then find new horizons that need to be discovered. He is passionate and driven as can be seen by his obsession with re-creating the Super Soldier formula that was used on Captain America.
His ability to focus is also his great weakness and add to this his emotional repression and an addictive personality and you have the mix for an individual who could become mentally unstable relatively easily. However as the Hulk he seems ultimately mindless with rage; he has a child like response to stimuli which also adds in an inescapably angry individual but there are moments of kindness and tenderness that is surprising.

The Hulk possesses an incredible level of superhuman physical ability. His capacity for physical strength is potentially limitless due to the fact that the Hulk's strength increases proportionally with his level of great emotional stress, anger in particular.
The Hulk uses his superhumanly strong leg muscles to leap great distances. The Hulk has been known to cover hundreds of miles in a single bound and once leaped almost into orbit around the Earth. The Hulk can also use his superhumanly leg muscles to run at super speeds, although his legs have limitless strength he does not have limitless speed and once he reaches a certain speed his legs become too strong and destroy the ground giving him no friction to run on, therefore he jumps to travel.
The Hulk can slam his hands together creating a shock wave, this shock wave can deafen people, send objects flying and extinguish fires. His thunderclap has been compared to hurricanes and sonic booms.
The Hulk has shown a high resistance to physical damage nearly regardless of the cause, and has also shown resistance to extreme temperatures, mind control, nuclear explosions, poisons, and all diseases. In addition to the regeneration of limbs, vital organs, and damaged or destroyed areas of tissue at an amazing rate. The Hulk also has superhuman endurance.
The Hulk's body also has a gland that makes an "oxygenated per fluorocarbon emulsion", which creates pressure in the Hulk's lungs and effectively lets him breathe underwater and move quickly between varying depths without concerns about decompression or nitrogen narcosis.
Dr. Bruce Banner is a genius in nuclear physics, possessing a mind so brilliant that it cannot be measured on any known intelligence test. When Banner is the Hulk, Banner's consciousness is buried within the Hulk's, and can influence the Hulk's behavior only to a very limited extent.

Bruce Banner's childhood dream was to be like Captain America, a skinny youth transformed into an athletic hero. Graduating university two years early, he sought to reproduce the lost super-soldier serum, working for the government under S.H.I.E.L.D.'s General Ross. He became head of the Pittsburgh-based Super-Soldier Program, got engaged to Ross' daughter, Betty, and developed a rivalry with fellow scientist Hank Pym. Rumors persisted that he conducted trials on civilians during departmental lean years; he certainly tested formula on himself more than once. The last test transformed Banner into an intellectually limited, instinct-driven, green-skinned behemoth. Dubbed the Hulk and pursued by Ross' troops, Banner rampaged across the country, briefly reverting to human form during an encounter with Spider-Man.

Eventually restored to human form, and testing negative for Hulk cells, Banner returned to work. When new S.H.I.E.L.D. head Nick Fury expanded the Super-Soldier Program, Banner was demoted to Pym's second-in-command . Dumped and belittled by Betty, and jealous of Pym's successful projects,

Bruce was working in his lab to try and find a cure for his condition; he was lucky that SHIELD still allowed him to work given the incident that had occurred from his previous experiment with his initial super soldier formula. He still had nightmares about what happened but now he was even more determined to find a way of stabilizing his condition and becoming the hero he had always dreamed of becoming.
He had a sample of his blood in a test tube and he released the current variant of the formula into the sample. He waited as the computer processed the results and as the minutes ticked by he felt a cold chill in his heart that had grown increasingly familiar. Currently he had experienced little success in trying to cure his condition let alone produce a viable formula for SHIELD and as the computer came back with the results he could feel his blood boil as once again it showed that the process had failed; his DNA was unaltered.
He slammed his fist into the desk and he could feel his heart race as his frustrations raged within him, he pulled at his collar and attempted to breath as he felt the change coming upon him. His hand grasped the desk and he felt the surface distort in his hand; he struggled to control himself as he tried to force himself to calm down; he could feel his control slipping and he knew what would happen if the agents of SHIELD discovered that he was about to change. Monitors in his lab detected a surge in gamma radiation and various alarms sounded, troops surrounded his lab and already the higher ups were being alerted that there was a situation growing in his lab.
He heard the hiss of gas being released and he tried to bang on the glass, he was getting himself under control and he did not need the emergency procedures that were being enacted. He saw General Fury arrive as he fell to his knees; he continued to bang slowly as the sedatives in the gas entered his blood stream. He saw the look on Fury's face as he fell to the ground and sleep started to come over him, he tried to lift his head once more but darkness over took him as he felt the rage within continue to burn.
